DELIVERY
Where do we deliver?
James Said can facilitate delivery to any Australian address. If the address is outside major metropolitan areas, we will organise a specialised quote and provide an estimate for delivery.
What are the delivery options?
We provide a white glove delivery service to metropolitan areas. This is our recommended service.
The moving team will unpack the products for inspection, remove packaging and include freight insurance.
We also provide a drop-off only courier service for smaller pieces, and accessories. Our service team will help you select the best option for you.
Please note that James Said requires that all products are paid in full before delivery can be arranged.
Can I pick up my order?
Pick up is also available by appointment from our Melbourne warehouse only.
You may prefer to organise private courier. Couriers will need to bring a completed consignment to the warehouse for collection. James Said accepts no responsibility with regard to freight related issues when using an external courier, once the products have left the warehouse.
STORAGE
Do you offer Storage?
Yes we do however all stored items must be paid in full.
We will hold as complimentary for 12 weeks.
After 12 weeks there will be a fee of $100 per week charged.
RETURNS
James Said holds very high standards for all pieces across our range. We source products from around the world, many of which are handcrafted by expert artisans. These products may exhibit variations in finish that reinforce their handcrafted and unique nature. Should a piece arrive in an unacceptable condition, please note the damage on the James Said delivery document provided by our delivery specialists. Please also send an email to concierge@jamessaid.com.au. Your email should include the following information so that we can promptly resolve the issues:
- Yours or your customer's name
- The sales invoice / delivery document number
- Your own photographs of the damage from close up and from a distance to indicate perspective.
PLEASE NOTE: James Said deliveries are made by a third party contractor. The delivery drivers may take their own photographs but these are for their own records and are not always easily accessible to the James Said team.
We will then be in touch with you directly to facilitate a swift and satisfactory solution.

CHANGE OF MIND AND CANCELLATIONS
We are confident that if you love our pieces as viewed on the James Said website, then you will be delighted with them once you receive your order.
Before finalising your selection, please feel free to ask our Sales Team concierge@jamessaid.com.au or telephone 1800 077 704 for fabric and finish samples, additional photographs or videos, and interior design advice to ensure your selections are perfect for your home or office. If, after placing your order, you do have a change of mind or wish to cancel part of your order, please contact us immediately at concierge@jamessaid.com.au or on 1800 077 704. We will assess each application on its own merit as we need to consider whether we have imported products on your behalf, and so we can determine the delivery status of the pieces.
